@ Nut345 why did you remove the part with asound.conf? If I delete my asound.conf, I'm not able to play sound through mpd + "play" simultaneously, so /etc/asound.conf is obviously needed, at least at my setup, or am I doing something wrong? Greets, hellwoofa ✉ 21:27, 14 May 2006 (EDT)

I don't know if your doing something wrong, have you tried to delete asound.conf in entirety? maybe that will work but probably not. I really hoped alsa was ready for prime-time now, but obviously it's not. I've put in the entry *again*. Sorry for the confusing.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, that's why I'm asking. Did you try it without an asound.conf? hellwoofa ✉ 06:37, 17 May 2006 (EDT)
