I didn't know about archlinux or what it is and entails and still don't.

I was Googleing for a miserable k3b/Red Hat Linux RHAS4/con Dag Wieers FC3 error building an rpm and I found it here. My rpm is now built, thanks to the wiki contributor. No, as stated, I wouldn't know what pacman is but I substitured "rpm" for it and did rpm things and it worked.

Heaven bless the wiki contributor :) I don't know how long it'd have taken me without him, but I was determined that the thing wasn't going to beat *me*.
