Talk:Main Page
From ArchWiki
I just wanted to let yas know that it took me a while before I figured how to get to the wiki articles from this page, and I only kept looking as I already knew the wiki articles existed. I thought others may have such problems, and they may never find them if they don't already know they exist? Hmm, maybe the heading "In Your Language" can be more specific or something? -yosh64 00:47, 11 August 2007 (EDT)
I really miss the direct link to all the diffrent install procedures from this page. loosec 12 Feb 2008
Should we start templates for articles related to applications? Something like the wikipedia articles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archlinux) where the latest version and the homepage is shown. Or at least information about the latest version. What do you think? --Sandstorm 12:14, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
[edit] ALSA/OSS
ALSA is linked at the start page, would it possible to do that with OSS too? Thank you. --CuleX
I think it would be better if we had an Audio overview page that stated some basic info about Linux & Arch audio, and both ALSA and OSS could be linked from there. We would then replace the ALSA link on the main page with one to Audio. Toofishes 21:47, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
