The spambot tictac is extremely active, why hasn't he been blocked yet? Mos 18:50, 31 March 2006 (EST)

Fluxt made an edit regarding Blue2q and his belief that he was not a spammer, but rather mistakenly identified as such. I have independantly verified this user as a spambot (blue2q not Fluxt). What is happening is he is indeed removing spam but also adding his own, the sheer volume of editing being done is far too great for the built in diff application so you dont see all of his actions, this spambot knows this and is intentionally exploiting that to fake out the casual observer (who only looks at the diffs) on further inspection it is revealed the true nature of the spammer. I belive this is a known exploit of mediawiki and there is no patch yet.

Yeah, it seemed very odd ;) Fluxt

[edit] Spammers/Blocked

I think I can remove the subpage Spammers/Blocked. Special:Ipblocklist fullfills its purpose sufficiently :) hellwoofa 11:49, 1 May 2006 (EDT)

[edit] Reversing changes

I have a little problem: Mootar edited ArchLinux_(简体中文) but didn't only add spam, but also removed some text (characters that I can neither read nor write). Is there a "reverse change" feature that just puts the page back to the version it was before? brain0 06:24, 9 May 2006 (EDT)

Ok, found something: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Reverting_a_page_to_an_earlier_version#How_to_revert

[edit] CandidateForDeletion

I've stumbled across some articles I consider worth deleting, e.g. new articles from spammers, empty or 'nonsense' articles, and so on. For now I will blank those articles and put the phrase "CandidateForDeletion" in them, so that they will be easy to find through the search function. byte 17:08, 18 October 2006 (EDT)
