It would be good to place a further example for encrypting.

  1. /etc/conf.d/wireless

wlan_wlan0="wlan0 essid MyEssid"

  1. wlan_wlan0="wlan0 essid MyEssid key 625341627"
  2. wlan_wlan0="wlan0 essid MyEssid key s:masterpassword"

If you have eth0 as wireless card, you replace wlan0 with eth0

wlan_et0="eth0 essid MyEssid key s:masterpassword""


I added the section in ndiswrapper about no internet -- this also could be adapted for other sections, or just generalized at the beginning. --Majikstreet 13:30, 15 September 2006 (PDT)

I made some changes to the rt2500 driver section, since the newer driver rt2500pci works with wpa supplicant. Somebody could probably clean that section up, and write it better, but I don't really think I know enough to be qualified.
