"Now from the main menu type "L" to open "Folder List", then select "Incoming Folders". Now you'll probably see your default inbox, which I'm assuming you'll want to leave alone in case you receive local mail. To add another folder to receive mail from a remote server type "A" to add a folder."
This didn't work for me. There was no "Incoming Folders" entry.
"Alpine prompts you for "name of server to contain folder""
Again, this wasn't what happened...
Complete rewrite, anyone?
Very poorly written. Writing isn't sloppy, but there is too many commas. Also, doesn't exactly point out what the instructions do. Heck, just that makes it worse than instructions. Has too little wiki style, and that's after the edits I did to make it have more wiki style. A wiki page is not supposed to be like a tutorial, but a tutorial with documentation in one. Also, wiki pages are not supposed the replacement for discussion, and by just reading the writing, it seems that the original author was unaware of that.
So, I'm saying the only way for this page to be just as good as the other pages is to completely rewrite it. There is just too much bad writing to replace.
