2007 logo contest

Can we squeeze the logo contest somewhere in the history section? Or can you think of an even better place? The submissions are backed up at [1] and we might also link to [2]. — Lahwaacz (talk) 07:44, 14 August 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Add text to section: GitLab era

On 2023-05-15 it was announced that on the next Friday morning (2023-05-19) all packages will be migrated to the Git Packaging system. Splitting the [testing] repository into [core-testing] and [extra-testing], The [staging] repository into [core-staging] and [extra-staging], and finally [community] has been merged into [extra]. Shortly after the migration to the Git packaging system, On 2023-12-03, the previous bug tracker (Flyspray) has been migrated to GitLab. For archiving reasons there will be a static copy so that links (for example the randomly picked Task #56716) are still stable. Pixrobot8 (talk) 17:01, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think we can refer to the announcement instead of rehashing the details: [3] -- Alad (talk) 23:01, 14 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I dont really think so, because on most of the earlier sections of the page explain in detail, i think we should do it on this one too, not just link to the announcement Pixrobot8 (talk) 15:06, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I think we can do both. I've slightly adapted your proposal and added it to the page. — Lahwaacz (talk) 15:35, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
