I guess it depends how you want to authorise access to the file: with 640, you can allow access by adding users to the "boinc" group. With 644, everyone has access. Giddie (talk) 07:54, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ignore_nice_load won't work on Intel laptops

Laptops with Intel CPUs now uses powersave as the default governor. Therefore, BOINC#Laptop overheating and battery duration reduction won't work for them. Libinator (talk) 06:55, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
