Talk:Blueman
AutoEnable=true under the [Policy] section of /etc/bluetooth/main.conf
According to http://www.bluez.org/release-of-bluez-5-35/ this setting achieves something similar to
gsettings set org.blueman.plugins.powermanager auto-power-on true
If someone could please clarify how they compare, whether they are compatible, complimentary or conflict?

Section 2.1 - Add Info on how to disable Autostart
There are many cases in which users might want to prevent Blueman from autostarting. For example, if they rarely use Bluetooth at all.
I accomplished this by adding the following line to /etc/xdg/autostart/blueman.desktop
: X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=false
- and saving it to ~/.config/autostart
.
This, of course, only works if you're using GNOME. And while you could add every switch for every Desktop Environment, it is not a clean solution.
What would be a good Solution to this?
