STM sensor hub drivers

According to this bug report https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199715 the drivers for the AMD Raven2 sensor fusion hub have been created by the FCH team at AMD and are currently (September 2019) being adjusted to conform to community guidelines. So probably sometime soon the driver will be mainlined in the kernel. https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/amd-gfx/2019-September/040553.html

Enabling sound speakers

Since I got this laptop, I've been dealing with the issues described in the post. I'm the one who provided the screenshot of hdajackretask, and this week I tried enabling the top soundbar again and noticed that it's not necessary to check "Advanced Override". Per this answer on askubuntu.com one can achieve the same result as in the article by doing the following:

Check the box: show unconnected

Find the 0x14 pin, check the override button, and set it with the option "Internal speaker"

Also find the 0x17 pin, check the override button, and set it with the option "Internal speaker (Back)"

Then click on "Install boot override" and reboot. After that go to your sound settings and select Surround Sound 4.0 as the output profile for the embedded speakers. Then adjust the volume on each channel to make all speakers sound at the same volume.

The above fixed my issue with the bottom firing speakers having only 2 levels (mute and full). The only issue that remains now is that the soundbar doesn't play bass sounds as well as in Windows, so I think there's more work to be done.
