Troubleshooting

If lxqt-panel is not rendered (not visible) under VirtualBox with 3D acceleration, modify /etc/xdg/autostart/lxqt-panel.desktop:

Exec=env LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 lxqt-panel

(tested with LXQt 0.10) Bugmenot2 (talk) 10:53, 10 February 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It's not the proper way, because it's overridden on update, and there may be other Qt 5 applications, which are rendered incorrectly under VirtualBox. It's better to export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 in xprofile, or disable 3D acceleration in virtual machine settings. --City-busz (talk) 01:23, 13 February 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
But it's unrelated to LXQt. It's an issue with Qt 5 and VirtualBox. --City-busz (talk) 01:25, 13 February 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Panel icons and text not showed

Hi, sorry: it's my first post in here, I hope it might be fine (trying my best english, btw). From a clean installation, the panel doesn't shows icons or text at all (even the one that pops up). The wiki mentions the breeze-icons, I think to me that issue has been fixed while, during the "firefox" installation, the package adwaita-theme-icons has been added to the system. Install both icons. Also install basic fonts (such as xorg-fonts and ttf-ms-fonts) for the empty boxes Tharbad (talk) 21:31, 6 April 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
