Mention Grafana's Zabbix plugin
The Zabbix plugin for Grafana is provided under the package grafana-zabbix. Would be nice to mention in here, even if it is a link to a section in Grafana. Mention Zabbix proxy
There is the zabbix-proxy for providing Proxy functionality, but only zabbix-server and zabbix-frontend-php are mentioned in this article. It would be nice to have Proxy mentioned as well. -- Josephgbr (talk) 13:40, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
Add instructions for PostgreSQL
Although the process is similar, it might be helpful to add instructions for using PostgreSQL instead of MariaDB. Ta180m (talk) 02:46, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
PHP8 is not supported in current version of Zabbix
So you should use php7-fpm instead of php-fpm.

Unable to initialize mysql/mariadb database
When running
$ mysql -u zabbix -p -D zabbix < /usr/share/zabbix-server/mysql/schema.sql
the process dies with an error due to a new field log_bin_trust_function_creators I had to
$ mysql -u root -p -e "set global log_bin_trust_function_creators = 1;"
and manually add super_priv to the zabbix user
