Template to flag laptop pages with, when they do not follow the Laptop page guidelines.

Usage

This template should be added at the beginning of articles or sections from Category:Laptops which do not follow the Laptop page guidelines by e.g duplicating (parts of) other articles or the general Laptop page. Duplicated content is prone to outdate and become inaccurate. Pages which only consist of lspci/lsusb and configuration dumps are not helpful to anyone, too. Ensure to cite specific concerns with the first argument and possibly also on the flagged article's discussion page.

{{Laptop style|reason}}

You can override the default discussion page with a second optional argument:

{{Laptop style|reason|Talk:Alternative Page}}

Alternatively you can point to a specific section in the default talk page with the named section parameter:

{{Laptop style|reason|section=Section name}}

Flagged articles can be found in Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Laptop style or in Category:Pages or sections flagged with Template:Laptop style. If knowledgeable in the subject, users are encouraged to participate to improve the article or section and remove the {{Laptop style}} flag when finished.

Note: The talk page is linked through an external link: this is to avoid polluting Special:WantedPages when the talk page does not exist.

Example

{{Laptop style|This is just a demonstration template.}}

This article or section does not follow the Laptop page guidelines.

Reason: This is just a demonstration template. (Discuss in Template talk:Laptop style)
