- armagetronad: has a .desktop file in armagetronad-0.2.8.3.1/desktop/armagetronad.desktop.in
- assaultcube: has a (not very sane) 1.1.0.4/install_desktop_menu.sh, one has to modify SHORTCUTPATH
- gxmessage: .desktop file is not useful?
- sigil: has a .desktop file [1]
- stone-soup: report is at [2] (our bug report only refers to a mail)
