My name is Tavian; I'm a first-year computer science student a the University of Waterloo. I've been using Linux for a while now, and have been programming for even longer. Currently I'm working on writing a raytracer from scratch in C: Dimension. In the past I've written an x86-64 assembly implementation of IEEE 754-2008 decimal arithmetic: FPFD, and a high-precision physics engine in C++: Carom. FPFD was my entry at ISEF 2009, which won a 3rd-place IEEE Computer Society award.

I maintain various nouveau-related packages in the AUR: kernel26-nouveau-gitAUR, xf86-nouveau-gitAUR, and nouveau-dri-gitAUR.
