Edit summaries

Thank you for your your contributions to ArchWiki. Please make sure to include an edit summary with every edit, even minor ones, as this is helpful when browsing an article's history. I'd suggest you to go to Special:Preferences and check "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary".

Bump regarding the latest edits in Bitcoin. Can I ask if you were being shown a warning before submitting edits without a summary? According to the current back-end configuration you should have been shown, so if you didn't see it we should investigate why, cheers :) — Kynikos (talk) 02:05, 26 September 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes, I got the warning but I was too exhausted when making the edits, sorry. I'll write a proper message next time, thanks. — Diegoviola (talk) 02:23, 26 September 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Do you think the edits look good? I tried to keep the article more "to the point" and succinct, because information changes rapidly and the wiki looked a bit out of date before. That said, please feel free to rollback if you think I made any mistakes. — Diegoviola (talk) 02:27, 26 September 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I see, thanks for clarifying, I don't have the technical knowledge to judge your edits, but facilitating reviews from other users is exactly the main reason to use edit summaries. – Kynikos (talk) 09:36, 27 September 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Right, I'll make sure I use proper edit summaries next time. I'm pretty sure the content I added is accurate since I asked the Bitcoin community for their input when editing this. Thanks. – Diegoviola (talk) 09:51, 27 September 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Not sure what you're trying to achieve with threads like [1]. It can't be anything productive in any case, and if you want to continue as a member of this community I suggest you restrain from these things in the future. -- Alad (talk) 14:11, 30 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
