Deletion: untranslated articles

Hi,

about [1]: replacing the content with latest English version is hardly more useful than deleting the page. After some time, users will be presented with an outdated version, whereas when deleted, they will simply view the always up-to-date English page. Of course if there is an interested translator, he can simply create the page again.

There have been some deletions for the same reason (e.g. [2]) and I've recently marked a number of similar pages, they are still under Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Deletion.

I think we should be more causion when deleting pages. I will delete a page when I think it should not need to be created in the future.
For i18n pages which are untranslated, we already have Template:Translateme. And in zh_CN Translateme template, I add the page link to Chinese translation team. New translators are attracted and guided by this template which is not possible if the page is deleted.

Useless redirects

X Here are some useless redirects. Because they redirect to the software that has been removed:

Please delete these redirects, thank you!

Here is another one: 我的世界盒子. -- Blackteahamburger (talk) 09:04, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
You could just archive them. -- Fengchao (talk) 13:52, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
But I think deleting is better than archiving. -- Blackteahamburger (talk) 14:03, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
The general rule in Arch wiki is "Never delet a page". Years ago there is no Archive process, unuseful pages are just deleted. But in a war with spamer, the history of some deleted pages are lost forever. So redirect to archive replace delete to prevent similar things happen again. And in case Thunder show up again in Linux, an archived page is more easy to recreate. -- Fengchao (talk) 14:24, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
Thunder may indeed release a Linux version in the future, just like QQ.
But the "我的世界盒子" page really does not need to be archived, which is not related to the Minecraft page (although related to Minecraft, it is not suitable for redirecting to the Minecraft page).

You can delete it if there is no content history. -- Fengchao (talk) 04:41, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
I can only move the page without leaving a redirect, but I cannot delete the page. -- Blackteahamburger (talk) 05:13, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
There is also a useless redirect: Openbox Themes and Apps (español). -- Blackteahamburger (talk) 10:40, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
The English page is an page with long history, so this change is wrong. You can check the history here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?title=Openbox_Themes_and_Apps&action=history. So we should leave both page as as redirection.
Sorry... I changed this redirect by mistake, thank you for your correction! -- Blackteahamburger (talk) 12:27, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
The useless redirect I refer to is Openbox Themes and Apps (español), which has the wrong name. -- Blackteahamburger (talk) 12:31, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
Done. --Fengchao (talk) 09:06, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Blocked edit

When I added content to Arch is the best, my editing was blocked. Rule: Antispam 1/2.

I think the reason why my editing is blocked is because I added the content that was deleted before. I have already discussed with others: https://bbs.archlinuxcn.org/viewtopic.php?id=10722

I cannot insert the content I want to add here (my editing will be blocked). See the discussion above for what I want to add.

Thank you! -- Blackteahamburger (talk) 13:59, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
