Splitting big edits

Hi, thank you for your recent edit to Gamepad :) Please in the future it would be better to split big edits in smaller steps though, to make it easier for other users to understand the changes, as also explained in ArchWiki:Contributing#Do_not_make_complex_edits_at_once. — Kynikos (talk) 02:12, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah, should have done that, it's just that I updated it as I went along and didn't have clear idea for moving of the sections while I started work on it.... I think you'll agree that later edits are OK. Tomato (talk) 12:04, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Of course the following edits are good, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the guidelines :) Usually when I notice I've gone too far with the changes in the editor and the resulting diff is unintelligible, I save a backup copy of the final result, then I open the article in a new editor and apply the changes I made in the revision I saved section by section, which in 99% of cases fixes the problem with diffs. — Kynikos (talk) 02:01, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
