There is a BIOS update (v207) on Asus support website (go to the english one if you don't find) that fix the numpad bug.
Works out of the box.
Follow the CPU Frequency Scaling guide to enable speed-stepping. Processor has Intel Turbo Boost which works out of the box, but you can't see the frequncies above 2.4GHz in /proc/cpuinfo. To see the actual frequency use Template:Package AUR.
The official proprietary nvidia drivers for linux do not support Nvidia Optimus yet, but there is a workaround in the form of Template:Package AUR. It enables the use of Nvidia graphic card via virtualgl. Just follow the instructions for setting up bumblebee in our wiki.
Bumblebee does not include power management features, but it seems to work well on this laptop. You can turn it on installing Template:Package AUR, and creating/editing these two files:

HDMI not working, it's handled by the Nvidia card, and not supported yet by Bumblebee.
The external subwoofer is not working, investigation needed.

USB prevents system suspend, you need to edit or create Template:Filename with:
#File: "/etc/pm/config.d/usb3-suspend-workaround". SUSPEND_MODULES="ehci_usb"
There is a bug with the screen suspend: when it wakes up, you may see a white screen, with the LEDs becoming grey. It only happens with the DPMS off command, not the DPMS suspend.
