:Perhaps :Category:Educational and science (English) or :Category:Mathematics and science (English) would fit better? I don't think there is enough here to justify multiple categories. This will only confuse the user. -- pointone 18:23, 14 December 2009 (EST)

imo, educational and scientific topics/software is not necessarily always the same. there may be on one side applications that teach children how to write and on the other hand numerical mathematics software. so maybe it would be good to have two categories from the beginning on? either desktop users guide > educational > science, or desktop u.g. > science > educational or des.u.g. > educational and d.u.g. > science. opinions?

I've decided to change this to Category:Mathematics and science (English) and removed it from the Education category. This means Sage-mathematics (and potentially other pages) can be included (matlab is here, so that would be nice). thestinger 20:20, 6 September 2011 (EDT)
