Epiphany

Introduction

Epiphany [1] is a simple web browser for gnome desktop. But it works good with other desktop enviroments as well.

Instalation

To install epiphany from repository simply type:

#pacman -S epiphany

--be sure that you have root privilegies

If you are using other desktop enviroment (DE) than gnome you'll probably have to create .gnome2/epiphany directory in /root/ dir. To do so type

#mkdir /root/.gnome2

and then

#mkdir /root/.gnome2/epiphany

After doing so you can run epiphany command from konsole or GUI menu. Apearence of menu entry may vary in different DE, so please see their wiki pages for further info.

Notice

Article was written as "side effect" during installation of epiphany, so surely it needs more info. - firenze
