Guake is a top-down terminal for Gnome (in the style of Yakuake for KDE, Tilda or the terminal used in Quake).

Installation

Guake is available in the official repositories and in the AUR: Template:Package AUR. Once installed, you can start Guake by:

$ nohup guake &
