==Notes==

Although the processor supports x86_64, the BIOS does not. You will only be able to use x86 on this netbook.

This wiki article was written based on a slightly modified 4120sa. Featuring a 64GB SSD and 2GB of DDR3 RAM. Most things should be okay to follow though, but be warned.

==Hardware==

===CPU===

The CPU clock frequency should automatically adjust based on usage, varying from 798MHz to 1.86GHz.

===Audio===

Audio is supported through ALSA with virtually no configuration. Following the [[ALSA]] article should cover all that is needed. Note that the Mute LED seems to be non-functional.

===Video===

Kernel module gma500_gfx should be automatically loaded as of Kernel 3.3rc1, see: [[Poulsbo]]

===Webcam===

The webcam should be supported through the {{ic|uvcvideo}} module by default, if not:

# modprobe uvcvideo

===Networking===

====Wireless====

The Atheros AR9485 (rev 01) works out of the box with {{ic|ath9k}} module present in kernels v2.6.27 and newer.

====Wired====

The Realtek RTL8101E/RTL8102E (rev 05) works out of the box with the {{ic|r8169}} module present in kernels 2.26.31 and newer.

====Bluetooth====

Bluetooth works out of the box, just follow instructions at [[Bluetooth]].

===Touchpad===

The Synaptics driver can be installed as described [[Touchpad_Synaptics|here]]. Vertical and horizontal two finger scrolling work, as well as palm detection, and can be enabled in the synaptics .conf file:

{{hc|/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-synaptics.conf|<nowiki>

Section "InputClass"

      Identifier "touchpad"

      Driver "synaptics"

      MatchIsTouchpad "on"

              Option "TapButton1" "1"

              Option "TapButton2" "2"

              Option "TapButton3" "3"

              Option "VertTwoFingerScroll" "on"

      Option "HorizTwoFingerScroll" "on"

      Option "PalmDetect" "on"

              ...

EndSection

</nowiki>}}

===Card Reader===

The multi-card reader is working automatically.
