Included fonts

Fonts included are: Andale Mono, Arial, Arial Black, Comic, Courier New, Georgia, Impact, Lucida Sans, Lucida Console, Microsoft Sans Serif, Symbol, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Trebuchet, Verdana, Webdings and Wingdings.

Instructions

Currently, the preferred way of installing these fonts is through the [extra] repository. The manual method is still described below for those interested.

Install from extra repository

Run the following command to install the package:

# pacman -S ttf-ms-fonts

Manual install

Download the fonts from freshmeat.net.

To install:

$ tar xvf webcore-fonts-3.0.tar.gz
$ mkdir -p ~/.fonts/ms
$ cp webcore-fonts/fonts/* ~/.fonts/ms
$ cd ~/.fonts/ms
$ ttmkfdir >fonts.scale
$ mkfontdir
$ fc-cache -v
