Naemon is the new monitoring suite that aims to be faster and more stable, while giving you a clearer view of the state of your network.

Installation

Install naemon-coreAUR from the AUR. If you are planning to use a web interface, you will want to install naemon-livestatusAUR and edit:

/etc/naemon/naemon.cfg
broker_module=/usr/lib/livestatus.o /var/cache/naemon/live

Web Interface

ThrukAUR is a fast, modern GUI. Try out the demo. naemon-thrukAUR is the same as Thruk but with a few different icons and a different example config.

Apache Config

Add the http user to the naemon group:

usermod -aG naemon http

Load modules and include thruk.conf:

/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
LoadModule fcgid_module modules/mod_fcgid.so

Include conf/extra/thruk.conf

Restart httpd and navigate to http://localhost/thruk/

The default username and password is thrukadmin, thrukadmin.

If you have any issues, try commenting out the lines starting with "Rewrite" in the Apache thruk.conf.
