Introduction

OpenTTD is a tile-based transportation management game based on Transport Tycoon Deluxe. The game is in the community repository.

Installation

Note: As of OpenTTD 1.0.0b1 (24 December 2009) opensource graphics and sound data sets have been released to make OpenTTD fully opensource.

Install the game binaries:

pacman -S openttd

Install the opensource graphics and sound data:

pacman -S openttd-opensfx openttd-opengfx

Original Transport Tycoon Deluxe data (optional)

OpenTTD can utilize the non-free graphics and sound data of the original Windows/DOS version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe.
