Problems during image creation

The line containing systemd-nspawn --capability=CAP_MKNOD --register=no -M $1-$(uname -m) -D <x86_64_chroot> uses the variable $1, which is normally not defined outside a script. Also using the lines mkdir <x86_64_chroot> followed by pacman --root "<x86_64_chroot>" -S base --noconfirm --noprogressbar yields the error:

error: failed to initialise alpm library
(could not find or read directory: <86_64_chroot>/var/lib/pacman/)

This is fixed by using the lines (note the -Sy):

mkdir -p <x86_64_chroot>/var/lib/pacman
pacman --root "<x86_64_chroot>" -Sy base --noconfirm --noprogressbar
. This also applies to the i686 version.--Araeos (talk) 20:09, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
