::About zip .. it just an example. And I also began to have doubts about if this part belongs here, but it is just a simple inline backups examples where scripts doesn't need. "dd+archiver". may be if make a page only about "backup with dd". got problem :( and will not expand my page for probably long time. take cary of it, i crashed my hd with the last example :( Andy Crowd (talk) 00:07, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

As you guys have already realised, the whole "Create and mount image files" section doesn't belong on this article. dd is explained in Core utilities#dd, how to make file systems is already explained in File systems, backups are already introduced in System maintenance#Backup. The content in this article has to be merged to more proper places. -- Kynikos (talk) 07:37, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

Regarding zip

Why is zip compressing using bz2? Unless bzip2's implementation by zip is better than bzip2, then bzip2 should just be used instead. Pyroh (talk) 15:22, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
