Killing X

I don't have any problems with X automatically restarting after I kill it. I have autologin configured and then I start X using startx. Maybe this user is running a graphical display manager or a default target of

That sounds about right. If an autologin is also triggering gdm, or even just calling startx automatically, that would be an issue. However, that's not exactly important to the article as a whole. Stopping X from booting is only an issue if you've already set up X to automatically boot, which, as stated in the article, is discussed elsewhere. -- Willrandship (talk) 12:24, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
