Should the bit about chromium and its pdf plugins be removed, because it appears that in the most recent version, libpdf.so is build in?  I am posting here because I don't know if perhaps it should just be edited, rather than removed altogether.

: My suggestion here is leave a note here such as "Since version xxx, libpdf.so is build in". --Fengchao (talk) 12:19, 2 September 2014 (UTC)

I could make a "dirty" fix to solve No sound problem in HTML5 and Flash for Chrome. Should I keep it on my User page or it is good enough for placing here? Andy Crowd 17:13, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

:So the "fix" is to reinstall all packages on the system. This is really dirty, and the instructions are already documented: Pacman_tips#Reinstalling_all_packages (other sections may be relevant).

:I can't think of any scenario where reinstalling all packages would help, other than where system files have been manually modified, which is a really bad practice. If the package is buggy, reinstalling it will not help and the issue should be reported.

:: I just noticed that when I used pacman -Syyu and even after use pacman -S somepackage on an already installed it shows that some of the data where installed and more need to be downloaded for re-installation then it downloaded some parts and installed them, after that I decided to reinstall all I had and sound came back in Chrome and probably something more got fixed when pacman -S --needed just skipped all packages.... thanks and I close this... I posted about "fix" also here.
