What is the relationship between the backends of gstreamer and xine versus codecs in general. Since they are both mentioned, it might be good to expand that subject a little. - KitchM 23:24, 30 September 2010 (EDT)
Few fixes proposal
I did not add Capseo codec, since I do not see its scope/field and never heard of it before.
Plus, I think we can add some link from there: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_codecs#See_also
I would like to propose removing CELT and replacing it with Opus as according to the CELT page referenced here it is deprecated. --Zenware (talk) 06:18, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
