Revision as of 22:01, 27 June 2015

I undid revision 202148 by Earnest, in my opinion it looks much neater to have things layed out in a table, as opposed to a list format. It's more compact as well. --wolfcore

This is still up for review, there is a real danger of things becoming rather bloated. Anyone else who sees this, look over the specific revision and leave a comment on which you'd prefer. Version1, Version2 or the Table layout. -- Earnest (talk) 19:50, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
My opinion is that the table layout is the best solution as it forces a consistent layout for all users; using a list would make users add notes and other stuff that would better fit their user page. This is also why I'd also recommend to add possible notes in each user's page instead of the "Repo Specific Notes" section, which should be used only for users not registered in the ArchWiki. -- Kynikos (talk) 12:09, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Added category and summary section. At the moment this is all mock-up and scaffolding, feel free to change in any regard or discuss any potential 'bloat' or redundancy. -- Earnest (talk) 18:50, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Summary section has no real place. Last task at hand might be to include more categories within the table. -- Earnest (talk) 18:08, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
Too many catagories, this really needs to be a list the grid just doesn't look good at all -- Danielwallace (talk) 18:42, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
Kynikos's argument has proven true in practice, see e.g [1]. See XDG Base Directory support#Supported for another successful table format. Closing. -- Alad (talk) 08:13, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
