Intent to bring EVE Online up to date

I spent the better part of the afternoon testing different configurations of wine to get EVE Online running properly and I am happy to report that it now runs flawlessly on my box with a Windows 10 wine profile (including Direct3D 11). The procedure I used was straightforward but different from the one reported on the WineHQ site and in the user forums. However, I couldn't get it to work without using wine-stagingAUR. My intent is to bring this article up to date within the next day or two. (I am a newbie Arch Wiki contributor so please bear with me.)

Updated article now being copied into place

I have finished updating the EVE Online article. The changes are substantial, but I have been careful to follow all of the Style and editing guidelines. This is my first article, so any feedback is appreciated while I get myself squared-away.

Thanks for your edit! The Prepare the Wine configuration is seems to duplicate a lot of the Wine article; but that can always be improved later. I only made some minor edits otherwise.
Also try to make multiple smaller edits next time, that way they're easier to review.
I have a question though: why do we need winetricks-gitAUR? What's wrong with the regular winetricks?
Keep up the good work! Lonaowna (talk) 18:13, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
Thanks much for the advice. :) I will post smaller edits each time in future.
