Systemd commands

We need to add a session under == Installation == (maybe Enabling GDM?) for systemd. It would be like this:

systemd method

GDM comes packaged with a systemd service file. Simply run the following command.

systemctl enable gdm.service

The next time you reboot, the display manager should run.

Can anyone confirm this to add to the wiki?

Perhaps also add

sudo systemctl enable NetworkManager.service

On top of adding a section relating to the old initscripts / rc.conf, should we consider the complete removal of these instructions to speed the transition to systemd? I am currently using the mentioned setup --stefanwilkens (talk) 17:42, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Added a section on systemd, also added a note on the current arch init situation. --stefanwilkens (talk) 11:20, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Done. Close. -- Fengchao (talk) 06:01, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
