Arch Linux Event Calendar

Seems like we can remove Getting involved#Participate in events section because Arch Linux Event Calendar is now in archive. Opinions? -- Kycok (talk) 20:46, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

Arch Linux Event Calendar isn't archived, only Arch Translation Day was, so I've removed the link to it. Does anybody know whether the Bug Day and AUR Cleanup Day are still held regularly? Perhaps we could merge the remaining links in Arch Linux Event Calendar directly into Getting involved#Participate in events, and redirect Arch Linux Event Calendar there. — Kynikos (talk) 04:10, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
Oh, yup, my bad; you're right :/
I don't know about yearly events.

Section removed. Closing -- Alad (talk) 14:12, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
Reopening, removing the section orphaned all the linked articles, which I've now marked for archiving, pointing their Archive flags to this very discussion. — Kynikos (talk) 03:37, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
Regarding [1], some "bug days" occur but on an ad-hoc basis on IRC. I don't see an article previously linked from a single page being very relevant there. You could add something to Reporting bug guidelines instead. -- Alad (talk) 08:35, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
Thanks, I guess that nobody will object archiving Bug Day then, no point in keeping it as an orphan, and I don't see anything to merge to Reporting bug guidelines actually, not even from the other two linked articles, AUR Cleanup Day and Linux conferences. Arch Linux User Group is the only article in Category:Events not marked for archiving, I think it could just be moved to Category:About Arch then, and Category:Events deleted. — Kynikos (talk) 11:13, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
A few of us are interested in reviving AUR Cleanup Day -- added a link to it here. Have tried to notify the person behind Bug Day about this, but no response, yet. -- Polyzen (talk) 22:55, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
Thank you Polyzen, it would be great if you really managed to bring the Clenaup Day back to life, and in that case of course you could re-add a link from this article too :) — Kynikos (talk) 12:13, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
Announced the event on aur-general. Now we wait. :) -- Polyzen (talk) 08:46, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
I'd be interested in helping to revive Bug Day, is there any one specific person who is supposed to be in charge of it or can anybody with bugtracker permissions do that? I assume the latter. -- Eschwartz (talk) 20:16, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
