Merge with i3?

How much content is still going to be added to this article? If it's almost ready, I think it could be merged with I3#Configuration. Alternatively, probably that section should be merged here. -- Kynikos (talk) 15:24, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

merging with i3

Hello Kynikos,

Yes I believe I've completed the i3 Beginner's Customization Guide. I'm not sure what else would need to be added (maybe compositing? but i don't have any experience with that). I have no objections for it to be merged. Just happy to be able to contribute. I'm new to creating/editing wiki articles. Not sure if this is the appropriate way to respond to you. I'm usually on #archlinux in irc as nhasian as well. Nhasian (talk) 20:58, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

+1 on merging into i3. I think there just wouldn't be enough left over for the i3 article if you took all the "desktop customization" stuff out into this article.
I think the i3 articles Structure (the way the Sections Headlines are ordered and named) could need some work. I.e. maybe have one Sections where all the changes you could make to the i3 config file would go. Maybe i'll have a go at this in a few weeks if i have some spare time. In the meantime i'd say just move all you stuff over into the Config section of the i3 Article.
