The best you can do, I believe, is to turn off udev autoloading of modules and manually populate the MODULES=() line with your known modules. [[User:Stonecrest|Stonecrest]] 18:31, 11 November 2007 (EST)
Slightly better than populating MODULES=() in rc.conf is to build them into the CPIO image (/etc/mkinitcpio.conf, MODULES="") since it doesn't require a bunch of calls to modprobe/insmod every boot.  Instead, the image is loaded and all of the modules are automagically there. =) --liquidsunshine
