i still prefere to install arch in the classic way, with a standalone (grub) boot partition, after installation, copy all on a backup disk, format /,/home etc into btrfs format, then copy back :)

booting btrfs with grub2

the current grub2 version works, as far as i can tell, nicely with root on btrfs, even if boot is on it and inside the root subvolume. So the article could be simplyfied i guess.--Ctx 09:10, 12 October 2011 (EDT)

I'm not into btrfs but the article seems to make use of syslinux/extlinux at the moment: you could add the grub2 way as an alternative (maybe preferred alternative?). -- Kynikos 08:05, 13 October 2011 (EDT)
