Tpowa says that editors need to mail him to tell him of changes if we edit this wiki. How can we find his email address?

Should something be put in here about kdemod?

archuser: The KDE wiki tells nothing of how to install and configure KDE; it should be updated to include how to install it and configure your system.

not startx, but kdm worked for me


I could get my kde work by executing "kdm" on the linux prompt. executing "startx" starts some primitive desktop (I am not sure which one that is, probably one of icewm/wmaker/..).

Thats works for me now. I am curious to know if there is a straight method (Do I ahve to create a .xinitrc on my /root directory?)
