(referring to the With makepkg and pacman (Recommended) Section)  the kernel26.install script does not complete successfully. I just tried this and it installs the package, but says :

The article mentions 'make module_install' without explicitly calling for 'make modules' - this will result in a lot of `cp` errors.

Maybe we could note that this article infers "vanilla" sources, per instructions. If you want to add a section for patching, and how this may modify the instructions, go for it. and lastly, i think in the kernel26.install file, the KERNEL_VERSION variable has to be whatever you set to name your kernel as in your .config file, as well as the current version. So...the script on the wiki says its 2.6.28, which is out dated, and my kernel ended up being named 2.6.30.5-ARCH_MARK_GRANDI (as i modified the kernel version string thing in .config from "-ARCH" to "-ARCH_MARK_GRANDI"

Missing 'make modules' command

The article mentions 'make module_install' without explicitly calling for 'make modules' - this will result in a lot of `cp` errors. Rdahlgren (talk) 05:46, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

Only if you don't invoke the default make target, or otherwise modified the makefile. See make help. Maybe we could note that this article infers "vanilla" sources, per instructions. If you want to add a section for patching, and how this may modify the instructions, go for it. T1nk3r3r (talk) 06:44, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Missing 'make bzImage' command
