group ownership and write permission on lock

@duaner - Re: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?title=LIRC&type=revision&diff=577159&oldid=577125

The extra line you proposed isn't needed at least on my system. Did you find otherwise on your system?

e /run/lock 0775    - lock -

I just installed from the 1 July livedvd, and my /run/lock is set root:root 755 by default. The lock group isn't used anywhere on the system, oddly enough. The FTDI USB model, using the uirt2_raw driver still has to create lock files, so I did have to change the group ownership/permissions, but that may be a special case. That dongle is also not picked up by the 60-lirc.rules udev rule -- I had to specify vendor and product. —This unsigned comment is by Duaner (talk) 00:33, 10 July 2019 (UTC). yes, I too get root:root for mine, yet my streamzap (USB dongle + IR) works as I describe. I think we should add a comment about the potential quirkiness but not make the page too hardware specific. Thoughts? Graysky (talk) 20:48, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
In that case you might not want to add the lock group to lirc, since apparently nothing on a new system has the lock group. —This unsigned comment is by Duaner (talk) 23:56, 10 July 2019 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
