Multilib page re-written
Hi! I erased the old page since everything was out of date and then I wrote all I know about Multilib. Please revert my edit if you believe it was unnecessary to do so.
The current content is written so a beginner with basic computer knowledge will understand the purpose of multilib. I am a beginner and I was reading the Beginner's Guide when I stumbled upon a link to this outdated article. I didn't know what multilib was, but after reading this article from redhat I understand it better. The article currently reflects my findings in the above article and this forum post where I asked what Directory Structure Multilib for Archlinux makes use of. However, this wiki does not have the Cite extension nor seems to have the References extension installed, so I don't know how to link to these articles as my source. The Help:Editing article does not make any mention on how to do footnotes or references either. Your help is greatly appreciated!

I think the inline links you made above are a good enough start. If you really want clickable footnotes you could try emulating their Wikipedia:Template:Ref family of templates, but I’d rather keep it all inline, or as a simple list at the bottom of the page. The only thing I would say is to include a bit of context in the linking; perhaps something like “64-bit computing: Co-existing in a 32-bit world” in Red Hat Magazine, or Reply by Wonder to “Archlinux Multilib Directory Structure” thread. When we install gcc-multilib, it is in conflict with the "classic" gcc, it would be greate to have a cross compil gcc like for mingw32 isn't it ?
