Deprecation of ABS

ABS is dead, so the title of the page should be changed. Rather than changing it to Asp, however, it should just be about patching Arch sources, irresepctive of how they are acquired (Asp, SVN checkout, etc) as these could potentially change again and are outside the scope of the article anyway. Hello! I want to learn all this. What should I study? Are you changing from SVN to Git? — Alexandre (talk) 02:08, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
As I understood the news entry, it's just the abs package that has been deprecated, not the Arch Build System as a concept. See also our discussion in Talk:Arch Build System#Archive.
Anyway, something like "Patching Arch sources" might be a better title regardless.

+1. "ABS" is actually not even in the article anywhere. -- Rdeckard (talk) 00:28, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
What about PKGBUILD Patching or PKGBUILD/Patch -- Fengchao (talk) 05:35, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
PKGBUILD is more the technical reference.
I'd move this article to Patching packages, this title goes best with the main Creating packages article. --Indigo (talk) 20:44, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
+1 for Patching packages, any objection? --Fengchao (talk) 09:10, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
