LightDM breaks with command-not-found

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but is anyone else experiencing issues with using the command-not-found hook in lightdm. When I try to source in my ~/.bashrc it as per instruction given, I get into a login loop in lightdm. When I comment it, I can login fine. And when I source it explicitly, works just fine.
