Slim & systemd

Having trouble knowing which systemd services are required for seamless functionality. Can get it to work, but not before restarting slim.service and/or console-kit-daemon.service. New section perhaps? T1nk3r3r (talk) 01:04, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

Maybe not, simply underscore no additional references to console-kit in systemd files. T1nk3r3r (talk) 06:30, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Added instructions on how to make slim autologin. PIMPinator 08:39, 5 May 2010 (EDT)

Cool, and very handy. Thanks. - KitchM 00:30, 6 May 2010 (EDT)

Could someone please add screen shots of all the themes in the repos?

Arch Wiki does not support picture upload. Close. -- Fengchao (talk) 09:52, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Some software that also works well with slim:

Lots of software works well with slim. We can not list them all here. Instead, if some software is known not work well. Please add it to the page. -- Fengchao (talk) 10:01, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

New version 20120221 1.3.3

There are updates, so the rumour of Slim's demise is accegerated.

What a good news. Note is removed. Thanks for reporting. -- Fengchao (talk) 09:59, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Note: I can't use this version without dbus enabled on both my machines. Without dbus, logging in successfully only returns me to the SLiM login screen. After playing around with my config and .xinitrc file, I happened to enable dbus and everything began to work correctly. Only had to enable dbus on my second machine to be able to successfully log in.
