I noticed the "factual accuracy" flag. Is this seriously just complaining because the note uses the word "Recently"? Or are there actual problems that need to be addressed? Factual Accuracy

I noticed the "factual accuracy" flag. Is this seriously just complaining because the note uses the word "Recently"? Or are there actual problems that need to be addressed? If there aren't other problems, I think it's sufficient to remove the word "recently" and we can delete the flag.Bobpaul (talk) 18:38, 13 March 2018 (UTC)

UTF-8 encoding

Hi! Any idea, how to set UTF-8 encoding in a message? —This unsigned comment is by Gen2ly (talk) 9 November 2009 23:24. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Alias

alias for local users:

I had some issues because mail sent to local users were sent to e.g. git@gmail.com (which is obviously not my account). I finally figured out that adding

alias git git<username@gmail.com>

to the /etc/mail.rc would send these mails to username@gmail.com instead of git@gmail.com. Should this be added to the wiki perhaps? —This unsigned comment is by Eothred (talk) 4 November 2011 17:12. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Thanks very much for this solution! I think it would help many people even outside of Arch if this were included in the article.Archpls (talk) 00:59, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
If you tested it recently, can you perhaps update the article with it? To me it looks like it could be included in an expansion of the existing Alias definition in SSMTP#Forward_to_a_Gmail_Mail_Server, but I'm not using the package. --Indigo (talk) 09:42, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
