::I remembered reading this article years ago when I was familiarizing myself with who's who of computing. I googled 'Worse is better', found out [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worse_is_better there's even a Wikipedia article about it], picked the link to Jamie Zawinski website and here it is :-)
::I think the way 'The Arch Way v2.0' is written closely resembles 'The Rise of "Worse is Better"' and since it was written later, I assume it could have been inspired by it.
