>=512 MiB for the UEFISYS partition?

I was never told to make it 512 MiB or more, and right now it's 47.86 MiB and it works fine. Are there any other particular reasons for making it that relatively big? /// (t) 18:27, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

UEFI bootable USB

I create a MBR partition table before I create the FAT32 partition itself. It works for me, but I don't know if it is required.

Lots of mistakes for USB install media booting

mount -o rw,users -t vfat <USB_device> /tmp/archusb

It's not USB_device (/dev/sdc), it's a partition on the USB device (/dev/sdc1).

rm -f /tmp/archusb/[BOOT]

What is that? There's no '[BOOT]' file.

mlabel -i <USB_device> ::<archisolabel>

mlabel needs mtools, dosfslabel is probably more common.
