This page is a template. It contains no Arch Linux-related information, but should be used as part of other articles. For more information, read Help:Template.

Please do not experiment with this template; you could ruin all pages using this template. If you want to edit this template, copy the text to Template:Sandbox, edit and test it there, and copy it back when it works.

Feel free to voice your opinion regarding this template.

A "placeholder" flag used to indicate incomplete articles.

This template should be added at the beginning of incomplete articles. Please enter more detailed indications as the first argument about what the article is still missing, whether it is a work in progress and the like; consider expanding the description in the discussion page.

You can override the default discussion page with a second optional argument:

{{Stub|reason|Talk:Alternative Page}}

Alternatively you can point to a specific section in the default talk page with the named section parameter:

{{Stub|reason|section=Section name}}

Do not confuse this template with Template:Expansion, which is used to flag articles that are relatively complete but lacking in detail.

Flagged pages can be found in Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Stub. If knowledgeable in a subject, users are encouraged to participate to expand the article and remove the {{Stub}} flag when finished.

Note: The talk page is linked through an external link: this is to avoid polluting Special:WantedPages when the talk page does not exist.

{{Stub|This is just a demonstration template.}}
