This article describes the installation process to get the Cypress touchpad working, i.e. in Dells XPS13 ultrabooks.

Installation

As of Kernel 3.9, the cypress driver has been merged into upstream and should be recognized out of the box. Furthermore, X11 requires the package xf86-input-synaptics to be installed, which is available in the official repositories, otherwise multi touch won't work.
